My name is Ayah Mourtada and I am graduating in the fall of 2023 with a BFA in graphic design. I’m mainly interested in publication design, but I like to experiment and take inspiration from many other design fields. I love illustration and exploring different crafts, such as printmaking and ceramics. Some of my favorite design styles are art nouveau, grunge, and postmodernism.

Journal House Subscription Box

Journal House is a subscription box meant to encourage creativity and journaling. This package comes with a journal, pens, white-out, decorative tape, and a pack of stickers. The main box opens as a double door and creates a triangle shape like a roofline when closed. The sub boxes designs are also based on the same series of shapes.

Branding refresh for a local Italian restaurant. The design focuses on creating a warm and welcoming environment. The tomato is the main symbol of the brand, and even the color scheme is based on the colors of the tomato and pasta.
